2006 Coffee Symposium Planned
It's About Java and Jobs at the Houston Port Region's 2nd Annual Coffee Symposium
The Economic Alliance Houston Port Region, the Greater Houston Coffee Association and the Port of Houston Authority are pleased to announce the Second Annual Houston Port Region Coffee Symposium on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel, located at 1600 Lamar Street, in Houston, Texas. The theme of the symposium, "Java and Jobs: Creating Economic Stimulus in the Houston Port Region," reflects the region's rising stature in the global coffee trade and the powerful overall role of coffee in the area's economic development.
The symposium includes a tour of Houston's bustling warehouse district and presentations from key industry leaders with fascinating insights and perspectives. There will be loads of opportunities to network at roundtable discussions, participate in business-to-business forums, and more — culminating with a dinner where you can meet more than 600 Houston Port region business and industry leaders.
